Might be a bit too early to rush Gerrard back so I'd start Alberto, Lucas and Henderson in the middle. Cissokho likes to get forward which means Coutinho will be able to tuck in behind Suarez.

We need to win this one. A scrappy 1-0 would be fine but we need to put these two disappointing results behind us and get back on track.

We need to be mindful that fat head is going to try and nick it with a solitary goal. With that in mind Toure will be a great addition to defence and Agger will help bridge defence and midfield. Could be lovely

Kelly has got some of the widest shoulders I've seen on a footballer, and a good height/weight ratio. Yet he's damageable goods and gets beaten for headers by much shorter guys.

I agree with the above, a half good Johnson (as much as I want to punch him) is still better than an always-returning-to-fitness Kelly.

Something really needs to be imminent on the transfer front. Cant afford to go a couple weeks into the window to make signings. We have a real chance of Top 4 and must take it

To be fair, we only have 1 league game in the first 2 weeks of the window, I'd say it is more critical to get the right player(s) in who will substantially improve the squad, rather than worry about how soon we can get anybody at all
