FA Cup: Oldham (H) Buildup & match thread

It just sort of developed organically, I guess the theory would be that people don't want to wade though a load of prematch speculation etc to get to the teams & game talk, then afterwards leaving the match thread open (which often has quite reactionary posts in) isn't particularly productive or necessary for people to talk about the game as a whole.I could not dig, I dared not rob:

I do sometimes partake in the odd match thread, just to get amused at the carnage and over reactions. Or to talk about chocolate biscuits. It is funny to see that people are still complaining about something or other when we are 4-0 up, But never, ever retrospectively.Originally posted by Gibbo View PostWell, for me. Especially if I miss the game or end up pausing it and finishing watching it later than everyone else, I like to have a read through the match thread just to see who agrees, disagrees, if Henderson is **** again, y'know the usual. Having to trail through 5 - 10 pages to find the start of the Match is just irratating, as is the same for finding the post match stuff.
You should read them man. Your football chat is good.
That is just mental.
Oh I don't know.

I have some excellent Borders chocolate gingers in the cupboard. But I shall resist opening the pack so as not to spoil my slow cooked pork. I have just eaten a cheese sandwich though.Originally posted by MrMichael View PostMmmm, that just reminded me that we have chocolate hobnobs downstairs....Oh I don't know.

Cissokho sounds like he has done ok, Moses seems to have give the ball away a lot. Aspas seems to have no service right now.Originally posted by Nigey View PostWait till we reach half time and it's still 0-0 and you'll see the usual suspects rearing their heads tearing into Moses, Aspas and Cissokho.

He had a clear cut chance in the box a minute ago by the sounds of it but 'scuffed it'. Basically, he's crap.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostCissokho sounds like he has done ok, Moses seems to have give the ball away a lot. BBC possession stats are often weird and wrong (and are now showing 48-52)Originally posted by Shaggy View PostCorner to Oldham. Came to nothing.
Possession apparently 43-57 in their favour
Fwiw they've not had a shot yet. Sounds like a typical FA cup game v a lower league club to me.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
