Brescia's Slovakian forward Marek Hamsik is flattered by reports linking him with Premiership trio Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.

The teenager has been one of the bright spots for Brescia in Serie B this term and his efforts have led to scouts heading to the Rigamonti to assess his talents.

Reports in the Slovak press have stated Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Milan, Internazionale, Barcelona and Real Madrid have had the player watched this term and Hamsik is certainly happy to be in the spotlight.

"Of course I am happy that scouts from such clubs come here to watch me," Hamsik told pravda.sk. "However, scouting means nothing."

Hamsik has made a starting berth his own this term and he is happy to have earned the trust of Brescia coach Mario Somma.

"Before the season started it seemed I would be warming the bench, but I have missed none of the last five games," he added.

Brescia hold the 19-year-old in high regard and it has been suggested the club would demand a fee in the region of €8 million (£5.3 million) for his services.

I'd be tempted to just go for him if he's good enough, I don't know what players Rafa has in mind that he want's to sign, but maybe he could be another Daniel Agger (similar price as well). Maybe it's about time we started taking a chance or two.
