Have to be careful with the inevitable aerial bombardment we will face especially if they get Holt on the pitch with Benteke.

    Really hope Sakho starts.

Yeah. I think it won't be an easy match. Villa seem to have an issue with pressure and playing at home. They won't be under as much pressure for this one, so they might be a bit more relaxed. And Lambert fancies route 1 antics it seems.

Yup, Sakho starting is a must for me.

If I'm honest I'd prefer to see Sakho and Toure starting due to the inevitable launches into the penalty box from them.

Benteke breaking his duck last weekend was sodding typical coming into the game with us, hopefully we can keep him quiet

Not sure about Toure he didn't handle Crouch very well last week.

I don't think there's a single Red who doesn't want Sakho to start (assuming he's fit). Surely he'll start ahead of Kolo.

I don't rate Skrtel in the air at all, never have done.

I really don't know our best CB pairing at the moment, only think I do know is Sakho must be start.

If he's fit Sakho needs to be starting. We've missed him the past few games.

It always boils down to how effective our pressing game is, and I expect us to press all the time at home. If we cut the supply lines to Holt/Benteke, we'll be alright. Villa can counter pretty quickly too though, with Agbonlahor's pace.

Villa are generally a much better and more dangerous side away from home, and opposition teams almost always have chances against us. I don't think this is a gimme.

I'd agree, I've gone for 4-0 but it's certainly one of those games we could easily struggle to win.

An early goal or two wouldn't go amiss!

Get into em first 15-20 mins and get a goal or two to change their game plan.

We battered em for about that time last season then Reina let in a soft one near post and we couldn't get back into it.

Ah I remember that, yeah we need a fast start which is something we've been good at doing this season.

Be interesting to see the starting 11 and the formation we go for today

I expect Sturridge to come in, Coutinho and Sterling either side of Sturridge, with Suarez dropping deep.

                              Some kind of 4-2-3-1.

Early goal and we'll do them easy. Even if they put up a fight afterwards.
                                One tit for another.
