We'll have about ten players for the derby if this keeps up. Fun this season while it lasted but can't help but think the wheels are coming off now, hope I'm wrong.

I'm wondering if BR is using a bit of psychology - by Tuesday several players will have made miraculous recoveries? This gives him an opportunity to play fringe/youth players in the FA cup game and he won't be overly criticised if it backfires yet he can keep vital players fit for the Everton game?

I'd like to think that is the case, but sadly I doubt it is.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Not sure, couldn't see through the windows of the blacked out Vauxhall Zafira. Gerrard was driving though.

Rumours of a strong team with both Suarez and Sturridge starting.

Hope so. We can't afford playing the reserves. This isn't a conference side.

I don't mind Suarez and Sturridge starting; they get some minutes together to develop their partnership, blow Bournemouth out of the water in the first half and bring them off for our youffs so they're rested for the derby.

It's better than coming on in the 60th minute to find a goal so we don't go to a replay; they'll have had a proper warm up and won't be coming on 'cold' when there is a larger chance of causing themselves a mischief.

So just Sterling is left out. Probably rested since he's been one of our better players.

Hope Kelly has a blinder which would allow Rodgers to keep Cissokho out of the derby.

Johnson is out injured though isn't he?

Think these will be the full backs for the derby barring injury.

Bit of an extravagent flask holder. Good to see he starts the day with an orange mocha frappuccino too.

Would have liked to see either Alberto or Ibe get a start today but oh well, Gerrard struggling in the deeper role, getting older, not long back from injury. There is no way he should be playing both this and the Derby IMO, its asking too much.
