Suarez leaving would be a hugr setback regardless of who we have. Its that simple. He is world class. We find it hard attracting players as it is

It would so give us funds for some bloody good players.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Me neither, but we severely lack central midfielders, only 4 really and 2 of them are injured :s.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI don't like this policy of Henderson in a lone midfield role.

Our options are very limited at the moment. Maybe Allen can make it for Tuesday but we weren't great today and that was pretty much our best available 11 out there bar Sterling,Mignolet and Flanagan. We need talent in the door or back fit and we need them bloody quickly
Job done to day,no more injuries hopefully but we need to improve massively for the Derby.

They got the job done, it's was a potential banana skin really. But isn't Suarez' poor run coinciding with our midfield being **** recently?Originally posted by The Birdman View PostPositives -
We're through to the next round
Flanagan got 20 minutes
Sturridge got another 90 and a goal
Suarez has had 2 poor (by his standards) games so hopefully the derby will fire him back up.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I don't think so, for me his work rate has dropped and he's gone back to poor decision making like last season.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostThey got the job done, it's was a potential banana skin really. But isn't Suarez' poor run coinciding with our midfield being **** recently?
He's obviously done more than anyone else so can have a little dip but what set him apart this season was his decision making and in the last couple of games he's been choosing the wrong options more often again.
We played most of today's game with 7 players as Sturridge only worked hard after his goal and Suarez, Coutinho and Moses didn't break sweat. The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

I don't know if you could rely on Sturridge to remain injury all season but if Suarez does **** off at least there is a 20 a season still on the books.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostI'm actually not so scared about Suarez leaving in the summer as I believe Sturridge can deliver for us as a lone striker.
