We get hold of the ball only for Gerrard to try a superstar pass, when they work they look good but when they don't 9/10 we're back to being all over the place. We need to get hold of the ball, move it round a bit and get some control of the game, its something that's really frustrating about Gerrard for me.

Frankly embarrassing that some are trying to use the quality of the pitch as an excuse for our piss poor play thus far.

One is very young , the other has had a long spell out injured, neither are first choice and we are choosing to play better as strong a team as possible today (bar the keeper). Sturridge also needs match fitness and is more important than Aspas and Suarez wants to and can play every game and is important to our style of play.

It is knee jerk I am afraid.
