When is Enrique due back? I think I've asked this question three times but nobody seems to know
Agger should be fit for this one too. Sakho as well. Defensively we will theoretically be in much better shape for this one. And hopefully we will have learnt from our pathetic display at the Emirates earlier in the season.

Would honestly rather beat Arsenal in the league than in the cup. Liverpool needs to be winning as many league fixtures as possible. Given our personnel shortages and all the FFP noise it is crucial to be in the Champions League. Stating the obvious and whatnot but ultimately the FA Cup means a lot less for the future of LFC than success in the league.

Sounded weeks away when Brenno was asked last week. End of February sounds the likeliest return.Originally posted by Marina View PostWhen is Enrique due back? I think I've asked this question three times but nobody seems to know

As for the defence, yeah be nice to have them back fit but it was the midfields no show that cost us in the league. We need to sort that out before we can win there although them having to rest a few will help.

Yeah true. Midfield hasn't been out of balance all season though, so not all hope is lost. Lucas being injured is a pain but maybe the Gerrard experiment will pay off. Rodgers seems confident that it will even if everyone else seems a wee bit dubious.Originally posted by G View PostNo return date for Enrique.

He had serious knee injury so it's debatable if he'll be the same player.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostEnrigue on transfemarkt has him back for the 15th Feb

Liverpool fans will be spared becoming the first supporters to pay almost £100 for an away ticket in English football after Arsenal opted to make the teams’ FA Cup tie at the Emirates Stadium a Category B fixture.
The Telegraph has learnt Arsenal are on the brink of announcing the fifth-round clash in mid-February would not be a Category A match, unlike November's Premier League match between the sides.
Because Liverpool are entitled to bring more fans – up to 9,000 – to the FA Cup game, a Category A fixture would have meant situating some of those people in a part of the stadium where tickets cost £93.
But, having already endured a huge backlash against prices at the Emirates in recent times, Arsenal decided the match would be Category B, which meant visiting supporters would pay no more than £54, many of them £35.50.
Arsenal’s decision came after Arsenal Supporters Trust and Liverpool fans group Spirit of Shankly both wrote to the London club’s chief executive, Ivan Gazidis, urging him not to make the fixture a Category A game.
Both groups also want Liverpool to reciprocate if the tie goes to a replay.
The AST wrote: “We have now, of course, reached the point where season-ticket holders will pay additionally for cup games not included on the season ticket.
“A category B game still brings in considerable gate revenue and there is, of course, additional TV money and prize money for progressing in these tournaments.
“A further reason not to have Category A is for the impact it will have on a large travelling Liverpool fan base, especially if they are allocated seats in the upper tier.
“We would welcome and support any efforts you might be able to make to have Liverpool guarantee they will do similarly for a possible replay so that our travelling fans benefit.”
Spirit of Shankly chair Jay McKenna wrote: “The league game saw Liverpool fans charged £62 per ticket for a fixture played on a Saturday evening. The cost of the match along with the late kick-off saw many fans priced out and for those who went there were many difficulties using public transport to get home.
“We have been informed by Arsenal supporters that if we receive a 9,000 ticket allocation at Category A prices, this would mean that ticket prices could range from £62 to £93 for Liverpool Supporters.”
He added: “Liverpool fans have already been charged 72 per cent more than Everton for the league matches that have been played this season and we believe that this is completely unreasonable.
“Coventry’s FA Cup tickets [for their fourth-round defeat at Arsenal] were priced at £25.50 and we would request that tickets are priced in the same manner. Similarly, in the event that this match ends up being replayed at Anfield, that a similar arrangement is reached with our ticket prices.”
McKenna also called for both clubs to lobby for a fan-friendly kick-off time.
He wrote: “In fairness to the fans, we would ask that the consideration is given to those who need to travel considerable distances at great expense.
“The league fixture on 02/11/13 saw many LFC fans having to use rail replacement bus services to get home from a 5.30pm kick-off on the Saturday evening.
“Clearly, no consideration was given to those who actually attend the match from those setting kick-off times. We ask, that on our behalf, you push to make sure that we are not in a similar position again where fans will experience similar difficulties.”
