How good were Flanagan and Sterling btw??
We expect good performances from Gerrard, Suarez, Sturridge and Henderson now but those 2 down the right hand side were just brilliant.

If Sterling doesn't win YPOTY it'll be a disgrace and Flanagan has really surprised me, not so much with his defending or commitment as we know all about that but his distribution and the attacking intent he's added to his game is brilliant.

Rodgers deserves massive credit for the improvement in those 2 players
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Yeah Flanagan was excellent again last night. I'm happy to admit I'd said a while ago that he'd never make it long term with us, but now I'm beginning to think the complete opposite. If he keeps this form up I could quite realistically see him occupying the RB spot next season. Fair play to the lad

It'll probably be Janner's-eye at Utd. Sky & the BBC give him such a bumming everytime he completes a pass.

              Can I just say.........John Mother****ing Stones!

Hilariously **** Merseyside derby debut for him. I'd been led to believe he was the second coming of Franz Beckenbauer, but he was more Franz Ferdinand in the end

That's why I prefer fast, technical players on the wings. Our counter attacking play this season has been stunning.

Not a fan of having players like Kuyt or Milner on the wings, because as you saw tonight, the speed at which we broke away with Sterling, Sturridge, and then a cannibalistic Suarez hungry for goals was brilliant.

There were some amazing scenes of team spirit and mass celebrations last night. I want to see all the pics on here. All of them

Why did Gareth Barry launch a 2 footed off the ball challenge on Lukaku in the build up to this? That was weird.

Random comment but how was that McCarthy foul on Wisdom in the corner of the pitch, when he wrestled him to the ground, given the other way?

                          Wisdom?

But yeah, that was completely bizarre.

Barkley played as brainlessly as he always seems to do. He must be the most over-hyped player of recent times. People comparing him with Gerrard are totally clueless. Gerrard was overwhelmingly better than him at the same age. He just looks like Rodwell MK II
