Spurs have dropped 2 points ,the scum all 3 but the bitters have closed the gap to 1 again. It's vital we get all 3 points alright.

This is when we usually, in the past have slipped up, and against sides we expect to be beating too, so i really pray we don't let it happen again.I hope we tear them a new one & really punish them to send a scare through the Arsenal camp.Originally posted by Marina View PostObviously three points are vital. Like Vermilion said, this is the kind of game we typically **** up. Pleeeease LFC... don't!

I agree but we need to have one eye on the Arsenal match so if we can rest star players early we should. Bang 3 or 4 in early & bring Aspas & Moses on for a run would be the ideal scenario.Originally posted by Liverpel View PostNo need to change the starting line-up from Tuesday.

The Everton game was up there with Spurs for complete midfield dominance. Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling and Coutinho were all excellent.Originally posted by chadrtc View PostI'd have Allen back in the side today to help control the midfield. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

In a way, but we set up to smash Everton on the counter attack. West Brom will probably sit right back and try to do the same to us.Originally posted by RedReet View PostThe Everton game was up there with Spurs for complete midfield dominance. We set up to exploit them on the counter, but it was hardly a case of us soaking up pressure and then hitting them on the break.Originally posted by chadrtc View PostIn a way, but we set up to smash Everton on the counter attack. West Brom will probably sit right back and try to do the same to us.
If WBA show as much attacking intent as we did that will leave plenty of space in behind for our midfielders to take advantage.
If Gerrard plays like he did against Everton (and I do think he's better suited for the DM role in away games) then I don't think we need Allen, regardless of how West Brom set up, but if he plays like he did against Villa then maybe a case could be made.
ATM, I don't see who you would drop from our midfield to accommodate a partially fit Allen, so unless he rests S or S, I just can't see it.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I see where your coming from just not sure who you drop for him to come in.Originally posted by chadrtc View PostI'd have Allen back in the side today to help control the midfield.
If we start well today at high tempo we can blow them away and then dominate possession. Have to be at it from the off and yesterday's results should be enough of a motivator for us to do that.
