Not the greatest spectacle but I'll take the fact that we're leading at half time.

Sterling has been excellent, as has Gerrard in his position.

Kolo is having a bit of a mare in terms of distribution and bringing the ball out of defence. Beckenbauer he is not

They have given us very little space in the centre and we've had very few passing opportunities which is why Sterling and Coutinho's willingness to receive the ball and run has been so important.

I also like Coutinho in this deeper role, despite what some have made of his performance so far.

He's being targeted and it's up to Henderson and Gerrard to take the pressure off when they've got the ball. I don't think he's had a bad game.

The games feels like a last game of the season with nothing to play for game.

Sterling has been our best player for me, Suarez and Sturridge haven't clicked apart from the goal and we're not out of first gear yet.

Cissokho has done really well down the left side when running forward but both full backs have struggled with their passing. I think that's something to do with them having so much time on the ball but not a lot to hit with the bodies WB have in the middle.

the way he turns and glides past players is unbelievable really, just the final 3rd lacking really but that will definitely come because although he's fast hes not out of control when he's running, his heads up.
