Toure's mistake was terrible, but we never controlled the midfield at all which was a bigger problem IMO.

We won't always play well, yes the midfield was an issue but this is squarely on Toure's shoulders.

Sterling, Skrtel and Flano played well. Gerrard was good first half. Mig was very good - apart from THAT pass to Toure.

The rest of the team were poor. Sloppy passing, no intensity. BR needs to have a word with them.

There was very little that was comfortable in that game. Our football was bilge.

They don't come back from 2 nil down. We weren't exactly getting pinned back by wave after wave of attack.

Quite disappointing this, now it's gone from us being in a position to take a lead on fourth to us dropping points vs Everton that are now only 2 points behind us.

Only 4 victories in 12 away games this season is really not good enough, we need to get better away from Anfield.

We can't control midfield sadly. That is what is really costing us away from home. We seriously lack enough depth for the positions there IMO, especially with the injuries we have had and the mixed form of Gerrard and Henderson's form completely dropping off.

Apart from Sterling and possibly Henderson, there was no energy in the team whatsoever and the strikers seemed to believe that they didn't need to press the defence. At times Suarez and Sturridge looked like they didn't want to pass to each other.

What a missed opportunity. Tops off a great weekend for the club.

We seem to do this too often...almost like in some games we just think cause we have Suarez on the pitch we will win. At this stage of the season we can't afford to do that and two or three more like that will cost us fourth.

The other thing that will cost us fourth was the transfer window.

Why the **** we never signed or at least attempt to sign a decent full back I'll never know....we seem to want to play the ball out the back, but the back four and keeper and capable of doing it. Cissokho, toure and mignolet are donkeys with the ball at their feet and skrtel is only slightly better yet we persist with it....a **** up like that has been coming for weeks

what annoys me is it was clearly an issue but we didn't address it quickly enough...same against Aston villa.

yet if he hadn't made a wonder save from that header and a great save from the freekick it would have much worse. Toure is a useless cunt, comedy aside he is right up there with the ****test centre backs we've ever had and we have had a few. As for Kelly, he needs to be on loan getting match fit.
