He's had a really good season but it was great to see him get totally annihilated yesterday

Suarez made a mug of him inside 30 seconds

Him and Monreal were absolutely all over the place.

Watching us on MOTD was awesome...just sat there laughing.

One small gripe. Lineker and co just damned us with faint praise and all they talked about was how poor Arsenal were. **** off. An English 19 year old has just destroyed the league leaders and they didn't even say his name once? Imagine if Januzaj had done that FFS.

I'd forgotten until I watched match of the day how many other good chances we had Suarez almost had that wonder goal, Toure should have put the rebound in, Sterling, Sturridge, Henderson and Suarez all had other good chances, we could have had 9 or 10 yesterday

I thought Gerrard had a decent game in this deeper role; if you look at his average starting position, it was almost like he was playing in the left centre-back role. I'm of the opinion that this was deliberate to allow Cissokho to concentrate on his attacking game. Boy, did it work.

I thought Gerrard had a decent game in this deeper role; if you look at his average starting position, it was almost like he was playing in the left centre-back role. I'm of the opinion that this was deliberate to allow Cissokho to concentrate on his attacking game. Boy, did it work.

He is talking Cissokho through games which is great to see. It's unbelievable how well things are going ....Gerrard growing into his new role and even helping to get Cissokho up to a level that is more than acceptable.

I know many think of Gerrard as surly, but when you hear snippets of his constant texting of Suarez, the point you make about Cissokho, the team celebrations and the photographs of players with beaming smiles ... you can't help but think that he's a great captain on and off the pitch. His public demeanor clearly differs to what is seen in (or made of) in private - and so it should be.

It's almost similar to Barca under Pep when Busquets sometimes looked like a third CB with the full backs bombing on. Brilliant performance from everyone but Rodgers is really going places.
