The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I can't help but feel sorry for Iago Aspas.

He seems to be getting into good positions at times & especially yesterday but no-one seems to see him or wants to pass to him. He could have had at least one goal yesterday when Sterling went for his hatrick.

I wonder if Mostar could do a short vid to show him taking up good position but being overlooked with a pass? Please?

            Anyone else notice it?

Yeah, Cissokho also had a chance to pull it back to him but shot across goal instead right at the end.

Given the circumstances though, I'm not sure why we need a 2 clip highlight real of Aspas not getting passed to

you sure it was only 2 though?

The lad just needs a goal or two IMO & I'd like to see his teammates help him out.

Think so, those are the 2 I remember anyhow

Yeah would like to have seen at least one of them pass to him because he'd have had a simple finish if I remember rightly.

How annoying is his stupid crackly voice.
                    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

He did get into good positions and he was overlooked on a couple of occasions but when he looks at whats ahead of him in the team he'll have to accept he ain't going to get much time on the pitch regardless of what he does when he does get on it.

Its a shame for him we got Arsenal in the cup or he might have got a game.

But I don't get how anyone could honestly be stuck for the countless positives to discuss and pore over after a performance like yesterdays?

You yourself have highlighted plenty in this thread.

I have indeed. I haven't read any further than this so maybe it's been discussed to death, but I do think overall it's just the way it is. With positives you're almost just reaffirming them...essentially. "Wasn't that brilliant!". There is almost always much more to discuss when things go wrong.

To be fair, our first goal was offside. Unless I didn't spot if the ball was hit by an Arsenal player before going to Skrtel?
                          Are we winning?

Yeah, I agree, it was just off.

Looked pretty much in line to me. Maybe a hand was just about offside, but it was incredibly minimal and certainly not gaining any sort of advantage.

What a wonderful ball in it was from Gerrard.
