As much as Id like us to play a totally weakened team, I cant see it. I think Aspas might play in place of Suarez. But that Midfield is so weak and inexperienced.
He has said before he wants to take the cup seriously. I doubt he'd want to wreck this momentum. Its not like we have a midweek game to worry about.
I can't see Suarez being rested, there is a whole weeks rest after this game. I reckon we'll see a similar team with hopefully Agger in a the back and one or two other more changes. Three changes tops for me. I'd give Allen a chance and maybe Aspas.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
In previous years the outcomes of Fulham's last too games would likely have seen us slipping up and United forcing a win in the final minutes. I'm pretty pleased things have turned around.
Oddly I'm still backing Toure to come good. He had basically a year out of the game and I seem to remember that in his final years Hyypia needed a run in the team before settling down. I think Toure is experiencing an exaggerated form of that due to his lay off and the differing style of the team he came in to (remember it took Skrtel a while to adapt).

Fully agree. He's only been brought in to provide the experience we've lost, ie Carra retiring. Over the course of the season he'll be seen as having contributed rather than being a liability, as have been unfairly portrayed in here.

I agree, failing that drug test and 6 months ban has ****ed him up. Eventually he will come good like they say 'Form is temporary class is permanent'.
However, He will still be our 2nd or 3rd choice CB.

I think up until now his contribution has been, shall we say, not good. I think he can (and will if played) improve. I don't think he has had the organizational impact that Carra did in the second half of last season at all. His last season at Arsenal was the only one where he really showed that and he was really familiar with their system.

His performances have been made worst by his mistakes I think. He looked nervous but was still winning headers in the last few minutes of Fulham' s long ball onslaught. They can't have been helped by the fact he looks ill at ease with playing on the left side of that back two. He doesn't look confident because of it.
****ing huge win - unbelievable. last minute penalty winners - sign of champions
loads of positives but a few negatives
Toure - jesus wept lad what the **** has happened to him. turned into a carthorse. I thought the bad pass against WBA was bad, but last nights own goal **** me - up there with djimi traore
Mignolet - grow a ****ing pair and comman just your 6 yard box would be nice....not asking you to be peter schmiechel and command the full penalty box, but at least take some control inside 6 ****ing yards. Also, someone somewhere at the club teach the lad to ****ing kick the ball. Work on his technique, get him doing leg weights in the gym or whatever, cause it's embarrasing that this bloke can't kick it

He's a wimp alright. Good shot stopper and in one-on-ones but am not sure what else.

really worrying - it will come, i'm sure. but at this stage of the season, the position we are in it looks like he's bottled it.....he looks ****ing **** scared to come and claim something in case he gets it wrong and looks a ****....and it's not surprising cause when he does 'attempt' to come for something he flaps at it and we concede (was it city? nooo villa....their second )
hopefully as we get agger/johnson back in the side it will help ease some of the pressure
