Well, at least he scores goals, provides assists and manages to contribute to his team.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostSaying Charlie Adam is better than Joe Allen is the most ludicrous **** I've ever seen anyone post. The bloke is a fat championship player.
It's a good day in the office for Joe Allen when he manages to go through a game without ****ing up his sideways and backward passes.
Both of them are useless defensively so it's a write off.

Another MASSIVE game

I think some on here are as clueless about our defence as our defending has been at times this season. Skrtel has made some errors but in general he has had to cover for some absolutely non existent defending from his partner or full backs.
Thought we looked a lot better defensively today in general. Agger with the ball makes such a difference too. Looks so comfortable.

Allen seems to offer nothing. Was quite pleased with his signing but think injuries hit him hard in terms of progress. Just cant see where he fits now.
Gerrard will make the sitting position his. Coutinho is brilliant and Henderson starts every time over Allen. Covers more ground, gets forward and sets up loads more attacks

And I think we can all agree with that. Arsenal had their moments, as you'd expect from a top team at home, but overall we were better. My only gripe is that when Gibbs came on to double up on Sterling that cut our supply. At that point we needed a change to keep pressure on. Top level games are a chess match. Rodgers made best moves until Wenger brought on Gibbs and cut the supply. No reaction. Rodgers has been slow to react a few times this season, but he's improving as a manager and CL, if we make it, will take him to another level once again as I feel he'll get some harsh lessons in that. But he's a man who learns and will be better for it,Originally posted by Bender View PostIan Wright, on 6-0-6 phone-in on 5 live Sport
"I feel for Liverpool. They attacked, and they are frightening going forward. With more clinical finishing they would have cleaned up this game."Forwards.......

Not saying it was stupid to get rid of him. I merely stated I'd rather have Adam in the squad right now as he'd be more useful to the team.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostYou're right, I'm convinced. Adam was nothing but an utter success for Liverpool and Brendan ****ing Rodgers was stupid to get rid of him.
We signed a £15m replacement who is not an upgrade on him in anyway.
That can happen.

I guess if you're into fitba players whae run around chasin the baw like a drunk after a taxi desperately grasping and wheezing to catch anyone with slight pace, give away fouls in dangerous which take your positive contributions into the negative and can belt a ball quite hard on target at a goal sometimes then yeah. Allen has none of that skillset.
And he doesn't have the biggest footballing booty in the western world.
