What basic armchair fans don't see is the tactical intelligence of players. Adam in the final third when on his game, is a threat. Was for Blackpool and been in his game for Stoke lately. Great MOTD player. Allen is opposite. His off the ball intelligence is first class. He is always an option on the pitch when team in possession. Off the ball he puts himself in positions on the pitch that make it difficult for the opposition.

But there is no doubt that in a team of the quality LFC now have, he does need to start offering more in possession to be a regular. As back up he's good mind, as he can slot in for anyone in the midfield and do a decent job. But he's a 6/7 out of 10 sort of player. Needs to add another 1 to those ratings.

With Allen I can see why we bought him, keep the ball ticking over and to allow others to influence the game but I can imagine if we can find better in the market he'll have his price.

We played well against a top side, and came up a little short.

Thought Jones was quite good other than that punch over where he should've caught it. Made a few bold punches.

Allen was anonymous, but he's had **** all game time of late. Agger looked proper rusty.

Don't like seeing Suarez so wide- looked much more threatening when he drifted in more.

We are a cut above Arsenal in every department. We have absolutely hammered the poxy pricks two games on the bounce and won the one that mattered. Give me 3 points over a poxy cup win any day.

Like I said this will be Arsenal highlight of the season and we will finish above them. In fact the way spurs are playing I wouldn't be surprised if arsenal slip out the top 4 come the end of the season.

They are one of the biggest small time clubs going. The way they celebrated at the end as if they had won the league had me in stiches.

They are nothing more than a money making scheme for their owners who are happy to win nothing as long as Wenger keeps the books balanced.

Watching them go 1-0 up in the CL final in 06 and having their arse handed to them by the final whistle was sweat.

We have the best young manager in the league while they have a past it in it for the money yes man.

I always **** myself with Jones but kicking apart I thought he was pretty much faultless today. Fair play. And it's nice to have a keeper with the guts to come off his line. I like Mignolet but in the last couple of months he's been rooted to his line. We are ****e at the back. Concede 1 or 2 soft goals every ****ing match.

Eto'o on Suarez at Chelsea and now this. Two absolutely blatant penalties. And yet he'll swan off to the World Cup as our 'best referee', completely unaccountable for his incompetence. Never challenged, he never has to say a single word publicly. It stinks and I hate him.

Not too fussed about going out of the Cup but hate losing to those bleating ******s. Worst crowd in the division, screaming for everything, *still* that sanctimonious and ridiculous "HOOOOOOOF" every time we have the ball off the floor and the most small time "who are ya" pricks around. Hate them.

As already mentioned it felt nice to establish that we're better than them, even though we lost. Battered at our place and clinging on for an undeserved, poxy win at home.

It'd be great to win the Cup. Would make some of these lads winners. Plus winning the FA Cup is a decent achievement. This season its low on the list of wants, but it was still something that would have been nice doing.

Attacking Wenger and Arsenal like this is a bit odd for me aswell. They are a decent run club, with good values. One of the better ones in the league too.

He pulled off a great one handed save and looks better with the ball at his feet than Mignolet. I still get nervous whenever it goes back to him, probably unfairly.

It was a win-win for us in that if we progress, we are happy that we progressed in a cup competition, if we lose (which we did), then we get to solely focus on the league.

The latter eventuated so let's just take this as match practice to get Agger and Allen back in the team and move on to drubbing the team in our next league fixture!

Biggest concern out of that was the first half and in particular Suarez playing right midfield. We are losing something.....losing a lot in fact....with him marooned out there. He does a grand job but from the minute we moved him central today he caused mayhem.

Something has to give to get them both through the middle but I don't care what it is, we need to do it.

£65.00 a ticket isn't "good values" mate and neither is trying to be sly by bidding £1 over a so called buy out clause in a players contract.
