Exactly. He's thriving on it, and I think he's young and fit enough to keep going whilst he's in form. His development wouldn't be helped by resting him.

No way would I drop him.

Dyer looks out for them which is good as he seems to play well against us.

He ran himself into the ground against Arsenal though, so if anyone was rested my money would be on him.

I agree that at his age he shouldn’t need rested, but I’m no physiotherapist and certainly wouldn’t have expect such a drastic decline last year due to fatigue, so what do I know?

Hope I’m wrong though as he’s great to watch in his current form.

Gerrard was rested at 19. Houllier has to be given credit for that. Of course Gerrard had 'growing pains' which forced him to rest but on the whole youngsters should be given a break from time to time to avoid burnout by their mid 20s.

Swansea looked good, really good against Napoli. Bony is going to cause our backline a problem unless we can restrict set pieces given away.

It'll be his first game back won't it? He should be pretty rusty. Surely they won't risk starting him straight away after so long out?

Shelvey was excellent last night when he came on as was Hernandez before he went off, so can't see them rushing Michu back when either can play in his position.

They have to be bloody knackered after that game. I thought they outplayed Napoli last night, a great achievement!

Swansea looked very good against Napoli. In fact, they've looked much better since Laudrup was given the boot.

Re: our game. I think the Jacks will target Cissokho. However, if we play with the same intensity as the Everton and Arsenal games - we should win

Ashley Williams will chop Suarez at some stage: hopefully it will be in the box.

Williams will target Sterling to prove he's a big man. That is Gerrard's plan

If you ask me he's at the age where he should be rested, for his career. Just look at what happened Michael Owen.

Williams is a bit of a thug. Last time we played Swansea, he targeted Coutinho and put him out of action for a month or two. Lets hope he gets his comeuppance

Glen Johnson is back in the Liverpool squad for the visit of Swansea this weekend after recovering from an ankle injury.

The England international has not played since 18 January and was ruled out indefinitely, but will be back in contention on Saturday.

"Glen has been back training, said Rodgers.

"According to him, he has felt as good as he has done for a long time - which is great."
Lucas Leiva and Mamadou Sakho are both still out injured.
