Does utd winning Champs League, change EPL 4 team status.

Now I know this is far fetched, however, if UTD win the Champions League, does the 4th place EPL team go into the Europe League?
'Mr Shankly, why is it that your teams' unbeaten run has suddenly ended?' Shanks replied: 'Why don't you go and jump in the lake?'

Yes they will. But United won't make the semi's so you can stop worrying

Yep. Arsenal would play in the Europa and Liverpool, City, Chelsea and Utd would play in the CL.
        Another MASSIVE game

united winning the CL would change the status of pigs from land animal to flying animal.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

I'm sure they said that about us in 05. Until the ****ers are out it will be a slight worry, not massive as I just can't see them doing it.

Untill they go out, it will be concerning for me anyway, why ? because we know all to well football throws up events like this.

The chances of us doing it to our bitter rivals across the park were slim, so i don't see why people think it's an impossibilty, it's definatley not a probability obviously, but i'm not writing it off totally, not with so few games left to play in the comp.

All depends on people like Rooney, RVP, Mata being really up for this comp and playing well, allied with things going their way in games, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

edit: It's not time to be having sleepless nights over it thought, not yet.

We'll hopefully be above 4th anyway.

I agree with you though, I'll be a little anxious until they are out. It's their only chance of saving their season.

Natural to fear it (the mere thought scares me too), but it's the longest of long shots. There's some brilliant teams this year: Bayern, Barca, Madrid, PSG. The chance of Man United under Moyes beating any of those, let alone more than one of them is just unfathomable.

I actually think at some point they may abandon their league form and take an all out gamble on the Champions League. As others have said it's the only way to salvage their season.

It'll be a failed gamble though.

That said I will of course feel far more relaxed once they've been knocked out

The only sniff they have is the flukiest of draws. Say Barca/Madrid/Bayern/PSG are all drawn against each in the Quarter/Semi finals then it might give them a faint hope. But the odds of that are fairly slim

They are due to face a good team and get minced at some point during this seasons CL. The fact their is already a lot of talk about them winning it doesn't exactly work in their favour.

Moyseys first ever trophy the Champs league?
Not a chance, they will **** the bed way before the final.

No way are they going to win it.

If David Moyes was to win the European cup it would cause a fissure in the very fabric of the universe which would destroy us all.

                              So hopefully that doesn't happen
