we are flattered by that result. im made up with the points, but we rode our luck and were often lubed up, wide open and gagging for it. im surprised we got away with it so easily.

the result will lift the team and fans but we need to sort out some of the sloppy play in midfield and the **** finishing from some of our 'professional footballers'

we have all dreamed of being in with an outside shout at the title, although third is most likely, but we need to tighten up and play like we mean it.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Flattered? Not at all. We were deserved winners. Tactically brilliant performance.
      Are we winning?

        Gerrard's interview was ****ing class

Yep. Early goal. They tire themselves out chasing us and pressing. Bring more pace on, utterly comfortable last half hour. Went perfectly really.

Brilliant win today. Delighted we took 3 points from a very difficult place.

Bizarre how anyone can have a negative look on that result!

Southampton are a very very good side with some of the best attacking players in the league. The fact we kept a clean sheet against them when we have been ****e at the back is a massive improvement.

I think people sometimes forget that there are 2 sides playing in a football match

Come baitman, all teams will create chances and yes we did leave ourselves open a little in the first half but we also had a few good chances too and don't forget who the home team were!

I thought today was good and if Coutinho and Henderson could have played to a higher standard, we'd have won even more comfortably.

I'd say that's CL footy for us next season. This weekend was a good opportunity for Spurs to claw back some ground with a fairly straightforward home game v Cardiff and us with a very tricky fixture tonight. That's not happened and they now face Chelsea away,Arsenal at home and us at Anfield in March. And by the way Man United 14 points adrift of us.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

That West Brom result done my head in more than any other and if Kolo didn't **** up the title would be in our own hands today.

in the first half they played through us a few times and a few poor finishes from them, the post and a fine mignolet save was the only reason we didnt concede.

dont get me wrong, im made up to have a win and a clean sheet against a decent side, but i just want to see us be a bit more drilled and less flukey at the back and in midfield.
some shooting practice for our midfielders might also be overdue

                              2nd though... yeay.
