Some numpy pundit was on the radio yesterday saying they've got the best front 4 in the league

Let's leave Sterling on the bench because, unless they are winning, their support will demand that Utd go for it in the last half hour and the game will get stretched. That's when we want Sterling running at tired defenders.

For me it's got to be the same midfield diamond that started against Soton- I think that after a false press Utd will start the game deep and we won't get the chance to destroy them on the break like we did with Arsenal- so let's pack the midfield from the start and press them like we did Spurs.

From the kick off they will try to get at us and that's where we can pick them off. If we score first in the first 20 minutes I can see them quickly capitulating and the crowd turning on them.

It'll be a tough game as, bar the city derby, it's the last big domestic game of the season for them. it's their FA cup final and Moyes will be dying to win this to keep his job. Think we'll shade it as we've got a real determined look about us this season.

Ten reasons United can beat Liverpool

Check out 10 reasons why Manchester United can down Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday, by MEN Sport editor Peter Spencer.

What's unusual about Sunday's fixture is that it is United trying to put a spoke in Liverpool's aspirations rather than the other way around. Will the Reds win? Here MEN Sport editor Peter Spencer provides 10 reasons why they will.

          1. Phil Jones, who Fergie once said could end up being a United legend is in great form defensively - and even scored against WBA.

          2. RVP will be out to prove he can continue to be a scoring threat under Moyes... or at least show form to get him a big move.

          3. Rooney needs a big game against a top team after being below par for England.

          4. Moyes desperately needs the boost of a win against a top four team.

          5. Mata needs to step up at least one gear and impose himself against Gerrard and co.

          6. That's the same for Fellaini who Moyes said did well against WBA, and with all those Merseyside connections will want to prove himself against Everton's greatest rivals.

          7. Fergie used to say the Liverpool match was the big one - well it is for Moyes now who needs three wins starting with Sunday, Olympiacos and City to get the critics off his back.

          8. Sunday represents a great chance for the Jones/Smalling partnership to prove they are the future.

          9. United fans will rally behind the flag if their fallen heroes up their game.

          10. Victory over Liverpool will improve bolster forlorn hopes of a top four finish of their own.

          Suddenly I'm even more confident.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

i'm well up for this game

and that's whats worrying me the most

all other games this season have felt massive/nervy/horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach

regardless of it being everton or arsenal, swansea or west brom - i've felt sick

worryingly at the moment i'm not too scared - i'm fired up, excited and up for it

we've had a good rest, should have virtually a full squad, and we should be raring to go. We're in a strange position where we are still in with a title shout, but not so close that it's nervous if that makes sense and at the same time we look a good top four bet but in a position where we shouldn't be nervous about top four but at the same time can't allow for complacency.

Not sure if that makes as much sense as it does in my head.

i think what i a mean is - for me our main rival to finish top four is spurs and their lose to chelsea has pushed them further back. So although we can't let it slip and have to keep pushing till the end we don't have any breathing down our neck.....same goes for the title, with chelsea winning and moving further ahead, whilst we are still in it and should still be fighting all the way - it looks like a tough task and i'd be more worried/nervous if we were say 1 point behind not 7 points.

Plus united are in a bit of quandry - they have Olympiakos 3 days later and they simply have to put in a good performance in that game

                    that said though

i'm ok now but come the weekend i'll be curled up in a ball, in the corner of my room, sucking my thumb and clutching a blanket whilst sweating buckets and frantically writing out every possible formation we could play

Aye, I'm quite confident of a win, but I was just thinking yesterday that this feeling is very similar to how I felt in the build up to Arsenal at the Emirates, when I was convinced we'd stuff them, so that has me slightly concerned.

Moyes has a couple of big decisions to make. Main one is does van Persie start. Mancs are seriously fed up with his attitude and lack of application at the moment. Also his lack of pace and mobility is becoming an issue. Has Moyes got the bollocks to leave him out? I'm probably tempting fate and the horrible cunt will score but I hope he plays tbh. Welbeck can't finish his dinner but his pace and movement would cause us more problems I think.

Smalling and Jones up against Suarez and Sturridge

6 of then 10 are essentially '...... is underperforming' naturally that is a perfect reason why you could beat the form team in the league
