If Clattenburg sees it as a penalty, then it's a deliberate handball and a yellow card. And if it's a 50/50 ball and there is clash of heads, do the referees now have to book the person who gets off the lightest?

Regardless of giving the peno.....what a weak ref ! No second yellow, only gives Gerrard a yellow because of the blood etc etc.

Special nod to Skrtel that half.....magnificent. Squeezing the space well in midfield, so kudos to Henderson, Allen, Sterling. Flanagan and Johnson doing well, with one or two exceptions.

Refs are now making it up. Is the definition of a pen for handball deliberate? Deliberate handball= yellow. Surely it's not possible to not send him off? Its not discretionary is it?

Off Clattenburg and on to the game, it's amazing how much Jones roams from central defence. We've clearly highlighted that and looked quite often to get the ball behind Vidic and take on De Gea from his left hand side.
