Exactly what I was thinking watching it live here in Thailand. Lucas excels at closing down players just outside the box. There's no player better than him at that in the league. I'd have been surprised if they'd scored either of their first two if he'd been on the pitch

Just my opinion, but by our standards this season we didn't have a great game. Defensively we were poor, attack wise we were excellent, the midfield was somewhere in between, with some good and some bad aspects. We did well to come from behind twice but we shouldn't have made the mistakes to put us there in the first place.

At this stage of the season it's about getting the results, we did that today, and that's all that matters. I'm not slagging the team off just assessing the performance as I see it, I know we can play better than we did today.

I know what you are saying, These sort of games are the ones we would have lost in the past by the odd goal, the forum would be in meltdown and everyone would be ****e. The difference now is that no matter how we are playing, We have the best partnership in world football and that almost guarantees goals. Not play well and score six, the truth is our defence was terrible, the midfield average but our attack is so out of this ****ing world it doesnt matter what goes on behind them
