Think any of these will make the step up?

I really thought we would see Anderson in the Carling Cup at least.

I suspect the poor form of the reserves has meant that they were not given their chance in the league cup. From the limited amount I have seen of all of them seem to have enough to mean that they should develop into at least PL or Championship quality players. Unlike, say, Micah Richards none of them scream out that they are ready for the Liverpool first team or are destined for greatness.

I guess Antwi must be going backwards as last season he was talked about by Rafa and to not get a chance in the cup must mean he has fallen away a little as he clearly has the physical attributes to play against older players.

Don't even know if he is playing centreback in the reserves. He was in midfield as a learning experience last season but there seems to be a lot of competition for the reserves CB slots with him, Palleta, Antwi, Roque etc.

The Ressies are pony though. Hardly ever seem to win which is worrying

Thing is Rafa himself has said he's not keen on playing young players in the first team, so I don't think we'll see some of them till they are 19/20 years of age. I think Sissoko has been the youngest regular so far at 20? Peltier is almost 20, so that seems to be a factor I think.

He was woeful pre-season. Think it might have knocked his confidence a bit..i don't really know though i don't follow it very closely tbh

Roque is too lightweight, Hobbs hasn't impressed and Lindfield doesn't look like he'll get a sniff (in much the same way Mellor didn't). Hamill has an attitude which will hold him back if he doesn't sort it out.

Agree with pretty much all of that but I think Lindfield might be able to cut it with us, but only time will tell
