We have spent one week outside the top four since August. We've been playing the best and most uninhibited football of any team. There is absolutely no reason why we can't get a measley 12 points. We're fighting for the title itself.

Just me not wanting to tempt fate I guess. Ive never really backed us for the title even though people say we have a chance. We genuinely deserve a top 4 finish as we have been there all season

I reckon we need to win all of our games to win the league.

However, I really think we can do it. The next 2 games will be huge. Especially as Man City and Chelsea both play on Saturday next week, whereas we are the 4pm KO on the Sunday. I'm hoping that City at least drop two points against either Man United or Arsenal away from home. United should be a better challenge for them now that RVP is out - allowing them to play Rooney as the main man and Mata as the #10 (although to be honest, looking at City's midfield, I fear they will have 2 convincing victories)

Palace away won't be easy for Chelsea on Saturday either. Pulis will hopefully at least make things tricky for them.

I really feel though that we need to concentrate on our own form and not worry about other teams around us. A convincing victory against Sunderland - and if we can follow that up with another hammering of Spurs - then teams will know that LFC mean business. I feel that if both Man City and Chelsea both come to anfield needing a win - as opposed to a draw - then we could turn them both over. Have a horrible feeling that Mourinho / Torres / Howard Webb will fock us over somehow though.....

As for Gerrard and his 9 yellow cards, I wouldn't mind too much if he picked up a yellow on Wed night. Miss the tottenham and West Ham games would be better than missing either the City or Chelsea game later down the line....

Every game is going to be like a final now. Anfield is going to be electric for each remaining game there. I cant see how teams will cope with us...

If we win our remaining 8 games, that'll be an unprecedented 16 game winning streak to finish the season on. I just can't see that happening at all.

That said I can't see Chelsea or City winning all of their games either. There's a few more points to be dropped yet by everyone.
