Think Flannagan gets on the wrong side of players sometimes when he plays on the left. Think this will improve as he plays more games in this position. It's just a positioning issue as he's a right footer.
I thought v Cardiff he was too wide and let in Fraiser in the centre, last night he was too narrow leaving to much room for their players out wide.
Surely that's down to how we set up in games, not a symptom of how bad he is positionally. He gets wide if we are using the width of the pitch and narrow if we are setting up as compact. Rodgers keeps mentioning that we sometimes need to make the pitch smaller which I think is a reflection of how we adapt to certain situations in games.
hunter does all the blag commentary on the old games some of it is cringeworthy danny platini and stuff like that when talking about murphy
bradley is decent though
a win is a win and puts us closer to our champions league target.
Our attack is blistering and people cant handle us, but defensively we're not great. I think its just a result of us being a very attack minded team.
I will say that when Ki came on our midfield didnt have any answers to his movement. Gerrard looked all over the place and Ki kept finding himself in pockets of space behind or to the side of gerrard. All of a sudden that 1-2 pivot looked very suspect.
against better no.10's we would be in trouble but thats something that could be addressed in the summer. But if a top draw DM came in where would gerrard play ? there's no way fernando or someone of his ilk would come to sit on the bench.
Re flanagan, for me he;s getting better offensively with each game. yesterday though he looked a little shaky defensively and got caught out for their goal. he;s a young lad and he will make mistakes. we have to accept it and realise that its a part of his development.

it worried me that there didnt seem to be a reaction from rodgers to re-jig the midfield to counter their changes. not a word from him...
we will face better 10's in the run in, i just hope we are more aware and better prepared.
i think it was the cardiff game were sterling was coming back to assist flano and double up on the oppo attackers and press them into errors and allow us to easily win the ball back. for most of the game yesterday flano was left on his own to deal with the onslaught of a massive donkey trying to kick and elbow him off the pitch.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
What time was this at? Definitely first I've ever heard of it. I thought the 6 mins was just corrupt refereeing, there was complete confusion in the stadium.
Made it all the sweeter though.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
I am pretty sure it was in the first half but I might be wrong on that.
It was horrendous when 6 mins went up. From where I was sitting in the stadium that Gudjohnsen shot looked in all the way
''Didnt 2 spanish guys run on the pitch and throw themselves in the goal and caused 6 mins of injury time? They would have been found had we gone out for sure''
Then why was there injury time added to the 2nd?
