I'm really nervous, guts doing cartwheels. Not because I'm worried about Spurs (they are ****), but because this game feels particularly significant after yesterday's results and I don't really know how the team is going to react to the pressure.

I know what you mean, I think today we're going to see what the team is made of - real championship contenders or a team not capable of dealing with the pressure of it all.Originally posted by captainfog View PostI'm really nervous, guts doing cartwheels. For my money I really fancy this side is up for the challenge, that great mix of experience with Agger & Gerrard, the will to win of Suarez and the youthful fearlessness of Sterling & Coutinho.

Also Johnson (PL, Chelsea), Skrtel (Russia), Agger (Denmark) and Cissokho (Portugal)Originally posted by rcasemore View PostSturridge with Chelsea (bit part) Suarez with Ajax but only Kolo for the PL title.
Edit: Did Lucas win the league in Brazil?Last edited by Exiled_red; 30-03-14, 09:51 AM.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

This a good point IMO. We have lot of players under 25 who'll use this experience. Mignolet, Flanno, Sakho, Coutinho, Allen, Hendo, Sterling and Sturridge are under 25 and crucial members of this first team. This experience will very valuable for them. Lucas and Suarez are also at a good age so if we keep this team together for the next four years we'll see something exciting happen IMO.Originally posted by Norbs View PostStill a relatively new squad too. Skrtel the 2nd most experienced player with around 175 games for us. Amazing really* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
