I think Carroll is going to be so up for it, that he causes himself a mischief. I see Rodgers has tried to soften the impact by 'bigging him up' before the game, but Carroll will want to prove a point and will end up being stretchered off or sent off.

Downing will be as impotent as always.

        You're the epitome of pessimism.
        Are we winning?

I like to think Bras is typing in an attempt at reverse psychology.

He's not counting his chickens, he's not tempting fate, yardy, yardy, yar.

I agree, which is why I don't mind it at all.

It seems that Henry and Werner will be over for the WH game.

Don't we usually play **** when Henry's watching?

Benteke scored past us, Crouch scored past us, Lukaku ripped us, Bony ripped us and Adebayor didn't play at Anfield. Certainly haven't seen any evidence that players with power in the air haven't caused us big problems. Not looking forward to the game

I'd prefer to see Sakho in the back line, we've never dealt well with the "big man" type striker.

Its his pre match ritual. He's thought we'd be dropping points before most games lately. Maybe he'll be right eventually, not tomorrow hopefully.

They don't usually go to away games so it would be a first I think.

I'd say its more likely they'll turn up for the City game.

Massive game and a must win But, would be tempted to play Lucas and bench Gerrard (save him for next week). Don't think BR will do it, though.
                              Another MASSIVE game

One game at a time. Bench Gerrard and BR is giving signals to the rest of the players that we're not treating West Ham seriously. BR did that already once this season and he admitted he learnt his lesson.
                                One tit for another.
