i'd prefer to get one or two tough games - we raise our level, it ignite the european nights at anfield and most outsiders will write us off but i'd be quietly confident of getting a couple upsets..

drawing a completley weak group can be a dangerous - if you don't go through you are a laughing stock, and if it's totally **** and you piss it...then when you come up against a good side in the knockout we won't anywhere near the level required.


ideal for me is one tough side, a decent side and then just one ****e team to smash/guarentee some points

I can't wait! Just hope that they choose some different people to assist with the draw this year. Terrible the way that Billy McNeill was wheeled out last year and just wasn't up to it at all.

me too. We need a bit of luck here. It will take time for our new players to bed in and develop .. last thing we want to play ****ing Barca or Real so early in the season.

Would prefer Bayern from pot 1. Not as good as Barca/Real but still a big enough name to not meet in the next round if we make it.

Not really arsed who we'll get, whoever it is will be great. Cant wait.

Though hope we avoid Juventus, Roma and Zenit so our fans dont have to worry about some ****bag stabbing them or launching bricks through bar windows.
