If anything I reckon he'll get 15-20 mins at the end.

If Yaya has one of his off days, we should win this quite comfortably. Silva is finding a bit of form again, but hopefully he won't see enough of the ball.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

We've had decent results at home against City over the last few seasons, when we were much weaker and they had largely the same squad as they have no. Big difference of course is they had Mancini in charge before.
IMO, Suarez and Sturridge have been 'off colour' these last few games. They are due a massive game and I expect them to be awesome against City. It will just click.
        Another MASSIVE game

again - at present i am not that nervous

the whole world have been saying we would slip against southampton away, then utd, then the smaller teams would be our downfall, then spurs would never let themselves get smashed a 2nd time, then andy carroll would come back to haunt our shaky defence

so far we have answered every single question and passed every single test.

and we come to the man city game - we should be fearless....we have nothing to lose - we've exceeded everyones expectation. Win and it's getting into utopia , lose and well we've lost to the strongest, most expensive squad in the league.

we have a fully fit available side (bar enrique who has disappeared) we're hungry, we're going for it and we have the form and momentum...

i guarentee city are ****ing ****ting it

I saw enough in the Southampton game to believe if we press City like they did we're really likely to unsettle them. Don't give them an inch and blitz them from the beginning.

I don't think Manuel will risk starting with just Fernandinho and Toure in the middle, not after you saw Southampton dominate them in the first half. I expect them to play 3 in the middle so it's likely Garcia or Milner will come into the side to give them solidity.

              mig

              johnson - skrtel - sakho - flanagan
              gerrard
              lucas - henderson
              sterling
              suarez - sturridge

control the midfield with the diamond, lucas in to help slow down and annoy toure.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Apparently he was fit and training but sat out on City's game against Southampton on Saturday and will comeback against us.

Thing about playing the diamond in this game is you'll end up giving space in the wide areas for City's full backs to exploit. Henderson and Allen/Lucas will have to do two jobs. Having said that there is definitely a case to play 4-3-3 or a 4-4-2 diamond.

Aguero first game back will be rusty like he was after his last injury even if he is back so I hope they start him. He's was still rusty and not himself when he got injured again.

Yep, he's looked abysmal when just back from injury or blatantly still carrying one.

Just go after these cunts, they absolutely **** themselves when teams go at them with high energy, whether it's been us in recent years, Everton at Goodison, Arsenal second half, Dortmund, Ajax, Bayern, Real etc etc. They hate it and the supposed best central mid and "most complete player in the world" goes in to hiding as his fat, lazy arse cant keep up with it.

So Aguero, with no match practice disrupting a winning team and comeback against us. Its all falling into place.

With his lack of legs/lungs, our defence shouldn't be pressed too much.

And the way we tend to control Yaya, Silva and Nasri the only thing we've got to fear are stupid set pieces and the f*cking refs.

I reckon City will sit deep and let us have possession waiting for a counter.
                        One tit for another.

                          it's so tough isn't

yes they don't need to win - but a draw for us doesn't kill us off either. Ok it puts it in their hands but that old saying of points on the board is better than games in hand comes into play - and in the run pressure can do some weird things....Sunderland fighting for their lives only 3 days after we play them, everton fighting for 4th - you never know.

obvs we want to keep on going and winning but if we get through to the last two games and be say 1,2,3 points of whoever is top well anything could happen and it would be one hell of an achievement.

(would be nice to be 3 points clear at the top come newcastle though )

Mad to think we've got 27 points from a possible 27.

We've only dropped 4 points this year

David Moyes has no place in a football chorus, or a football ground for that matter.
