I like Clattenburg but I slightly worry that having given us three pens against United he's less likely to give one against City unless it's 100% unavoidable.

It all feels so surreal.

We win and we'll become favourites for the title

I know, like some sort of dream ain't it? Was saying this to my bezzie at work who is a Citeh season ticket holder. Unbelievable.

Can't believe I'm at this stupid wedding FFS.
        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Really? Given that it will leave space in the wide areas for City to attack especially with their full backs. They woud revel in the space given. For me it's got to be 4-3-3 and I see Allen, Henderson and Gerrard being the midfield 3. I think the idea will be to press City from the off as they do struggle when teams adopt this approach.I expect the team to be the following:

          Mignolet
          Flanagan
          Johnson
          Skrtel
          Sakho/Agger (if fit)
          Gerrard
          Henderson
          Allen
          Sterling
          Sturridge
          Suarez

I'd drop Suarez, he's been poor last few games.

Moses to start then Suarez to come on with 30 mins when they tire

Same way we went at their place. That was quite successful apart from an error and a blind linesman gifting them the points.

Nah, I think Clattenburg has a bit of bottle for a ref.

So do I Gibbo otherwise we wouldn't have had those three, but it's got to be in the back of his mind that to keep giving us pens in big games is going to get him accused of bias.

(Although I suppose it never bothered Webb that he was widely regarded as Utd's twelfth man).

As long as they are the correct decisions he won't be accused of anything.I didn't see anyone other than their fans accuse him of anything after the United game and even then it was that the Sturridge pen was soft. Most agreed he should have got another one soon after anyway.

Because ****ing hell I don't trust Liverpool anymore.
Haha, 9 wins on the bounce and you still can't trust them. If we lose, the worst that'll happen is that we're in second place.

We've had decent results at home against City over the last few seasons, when we were much weaker and they had largely the same squad as they have no. Big difference of course is they had Mancini in charge before.
This probably isn't a popular view but is Pellegrini doing any better Mancini? I'm not sure he is on current evidence. The latter was often criticised for not walking the league, but that should squad still be walking it now.
                              Oh I don't know.

I wanted him after Rafa but thats fair comment. They should be miles ahead but I'd give him some leniency cos its his first season in England.I'd expect marked improvement from them next season,if not then questions can be asked.

As for nerves. I don't have any.We are all different but I've been quite serene for most of this because I'm absolutely convinced we are winning it.100%

That last bits a general comment, not directed at you Dom
