FIVE MINUTES!! that would have to be the longest five minutes of my life!! Great result.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

        again

The game was fought in a great spirit, and the build up was respectful.

I usually detest our rivals, not quite as much as you, mind. But I really do respect City and they were a worthy opponent in the end. The only player of theirs I really dislike is Nasri. And maybe Harte. I hope they win it if we don't.
        Oh I don't know.

I'm tempted to go back to the pub and watch the Chav game.

I'm more knackered watching that game than I was playing 90 mins earlier in the week.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

There was a snippet in the Times today and he was very complimentary about our football and managed to get a not so obvious dig in at Mourinho too.

Lost for words right now. So much screaming was done during the game.

I had to manage to twitch through match that completely sober. Good job really, I'd be as fekked as I was after Istanbul...maybe not quite...
