There was no intent (to foul) and he did get the ball but it was a lunge with high studs i.e. dangerous play - straight red. Unfortunate

It is a tough decision to take in the context of the title race, but it was the right one. I actually think the ref was excellent today (we slate them often enough) that was a fast flowing match with lots going on, he got most of the decisions right and the ones he didn't probably worked in our favour

Put it this way we'd have all taken a 3-2 win with a player receiving a red card pre match.

Doubt we'll know anything till tomorrow if they send him for a scan.

It's tough for Hendo but it was a reckless challenge at speed over the ball with studs up,red all day long. He'll be back for the final game to lift the trophy with his team mates

Fair enough, I was hoping we might be able to get it reduced to a yellow but I don't have any complaints about it, just disappointed.
