This is what it was like in Sydney last night.

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd6znNqTt9k"]LiverpoolFC vs manchester city 13/04/14 Cheers Bar Sydney Australia - YouTube[/ame]
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

I'm a bit worried that the emotion which has been released by the players yesterday has reached a point where the body won't expect any more any time soon, i.e has reached its nadir. Those pictures reminds me of Istanbul and the difference is that we haven't won anything yet.

          I still feel drained today.
          Are we winning?

Notice how the short sleeves go down to everyone's elbows except Gerrard's. Freakishly long arms I tell ya!

Fecking Skrtel learnt one thing off Carra and that was to always be the first one to celebrate with the goalscorer!!

Seriously, from previous on-off form Skrtel is seriously starting to enter Hyppia territory.

I'm not having that! They'll know they have one hand on the title.

Between Gerrard, Agger, Rodgers and Peters, we'll be totally focussed on Norwich and what is required of our players.

No problem with the huddle etc etc (although it will undoubtedly be a cause of grief if we fail).............but I think Sterling's flag-bearing (least I think it was him) was a bit OTT.

                    Why Agger?

Anyway, from the season so far I have noticed Coutinho, Sturridge and GJ have formidable games against top opposition followed by indifference against the 'minnows'. Suarez and Gerrard have bailed us out more than a few times, and it is an ongoing concern (for every club I guess).

As for City, they looked mentally and physically drained. Injuries to Kompany and Toure have shocked them. Sunderland could do an important job on Wednesday, shame its at City's ground.

Should finally be home in about half hour. Will feed the cat, sort a coffee out and then sit down and watch the match (almost didn't record it cos we have a terrible record when we do). I managed to see the last half hour at the wedding, but it was a blur - and I'd only had a pint or 3 by that point. Was the stress, my eyes weren't really processing what I was watching.
                      3rd place. Worst champions ever.
