Apparently whoever's in charge of the women's game let City pitch up from nowhere and join what's now the top division yet Doncaster one of the pioneers of ladies footie were ****ed off to the second division. Doesn't sound quite right to me.

Incidentally couldn't this be a sticky, same as the reserves etc?

Yes I saw an article about it. It wasn't fair but was necessary. They didn't meet minimum requirements apparently. Also Sunderland had always won the second division but got overlooked for Man City. Now they have automatic promotion and relegation so long term it was probably the best move for the good of the game.
