I don't think it's cut and dried. Bale showed last year it doesn't really matter what you do in the first half of the season, if you're on fire when voting takes place you have a great chance, Sterling and Sturridge have been in better form than Hazard in 2014.

Purely based on stats Sturridge should get it.

He has 20 Goals and 7 Assists this season vs Hazard 14 Goals and 7 Assists but imo they will give this one to Hazard regardless.

Yeah Stats wise I would agree but these things usually decided second half of the season it seems and for me Sterling has been the most impressive since the turn of the year.
