I think the criticism of Mig and Sakho is uncalled for. Both players are here on their first season and have handled the pressure of a championship fighting side pretty well all things considered.

Merit to Norwich. They pressurised us immensely and I reall do believe they would have beaten quite a few team today bar maybe Chelsea and
    Man City.

We made that so difficult for ourselves when we really didn't have to, we again failed to manage a 2-0 lead and dropped about 10 yards deeper. Sheer relief at the end there! Stuck £20 on a draw with 8 minutes to go, not a believer of the jinx betting but I'll give anything a go at this stage.

Johnson was nothing short of horrendous and Skrtel was defending on his own today, Sakho seems to get flustered when he's pressed after making a mistake. The way we overplay at the back doesn't help him but he needs to get it out his mind and carry on.

Sterling was ****ing superb, clever with his runs and winning us throw ins and free kicks when we're struggling to get out! He won us the game, simple as that.

3 massive points though they've been good at home this season.

Big lesson for the summer is Lucas can be cover for Gerrard but he's not going to cut it in and advanced role he still has a part to play but we need another body.

Norwich were always going to give us a game. They looked good last week and they're fighting for their lives with an awful set of fixtures coming up. Manchester City struggled to score here, as did Spurs, so three points, three goals is a testament to our attacking game.

I'd love to know what the highest number of goals conceded by the champions is ... any body want to provide the assist?

Lucas had a 'mare, Johnson looked tentative and heavy on his feet. Sakho struggled under pressure, but Skrtel stepped up and Gerrard covered some serious ground. Suarez looked isolated, but I believe that was tactics.

Five points clear of Chelsea, nine of Manchester City and three games to go. What a season. I'm lost for words, but how often (recently) do we complain of games towards the end of the season having no meaning? These games certainly have meaning ... and I wouldn't have it any other way.

At the end if the day this was three points. Regardless of the performance Chavski and Citeh have dropped points to teams fighting for survival and they have more of those games to come. A win next week is a must, perhaps then I can stop dreaming and start believing.
24 years of disappointment I am still refusing to get carried away. One game at a time!

If Norwich could do this to us, imagine what it's going to be like against Palace...

Surprised at the level of negativity, that was a tough game. Norwich were as desperate for the points as we were. Great result, just what we needed.

                  Thank ****. Massive. Etc.
I have sympathy for that view but he's improved his starting position and his ball skills this season. He needs to make similar strides in his dealing with the ball in the air to be a long term option for us.

The combination of him and Skrtel seems to bring the worst out of both of them sometimes. Definitely a combination that needs work - perhaps more confidence in each other is all that is needed.

Huge difference is that Palace are now safe.
The biggest thing for them against us, is that they have nothing to lose and might fancy giving the potential champions one hell of a game.
Hopefully they can take points of city whilst we beat Chelsea, that would basically be game set and match

But normally you win them 1-0 not 3-2

I think that Agger's presence helps somewhat with the overall composure of the back line and their communication with the goalkeeper. When Sakho partners Skrtel, you don't feel like there is leadership or anyone taking charge. Skrtel puts his heart out there and fights like a warrior, but sometimes it's not enough. Mignolet is a huge problem because the defence seems to panic at every high ball because they know what's behind them.

Expectations have gone mental, some seem to expect teams to never, ever have a spell of pressure and for us to score at least 5. We can do better but still, it's a brilliant result.

It was a brilliant 3 points.. The worry is the remaining teams seeing exactly the way to play against us.

Definitely going to have these types of games and performances if you want to win the league. We grinder it out and won... Thank ****.

Hendersons energy was missed and sturridges composure up top. Really hope sturridge is fit for remaining fixtures.
