Does anyone think it's a coincidence that the two defenders struggling the most this season are Mignolet and Sakho both of whom are in their first season here and having to learn a new brand of football ??
A bit of perspective is needed on those 2 players here and I'd expect nothing than more than for Mr Perspective himself JohnDoe to lay into them.

Our rivals just dropped points to Sunderland.
Now is not the time to write of or judge players. Take the points and celebrate.
we shouldn't be focusing too much on negatives at the stage....just keep positive thoughts flowing
We worked hard, we were put under serious pressure and kept our bottle, Norwich played well and threw everything at us. Sterling, skrtel and gerrard were outstanding
It's another win, it's given us a little breathing space and we go again next week
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Yup it is. Made up with the result. I knew it would be like this. We have hammered Norwich time and time again and there was always going to be a game where they pushed us all the way and when they are fighting for their lives you could bet it would have been today.Originally posted by danperkins View Post
Massive 3 points though.

I don't make the Sakho-Traore comparison but to me Sakho doesn't look comfortable in possession, he might have good passing stats but the way he is on the ball makes me nervous like he is about to make a mistake.Originally posted by G View PostI don't see the Traore/Sakho comparison,he has the highest pass completion rate of anyone back there but I'd play Agger v Chelsea.Him and Skrtel are more assured as a pairing. Sakho will be grand going forward. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
