FWIW, I think we have a 75% media love in going, thanks largely to England Captain Gerrard for obvious reasons there, and the fact we've been mostly average for the past 24 years. Throw in us having a British manager and a load of English players in a World Cup year and even Martin Samuel likes us FFS.

I guarantee that if we do fail to get a result, it will not be down to taking the Opposition lightly, more down to a bad decision or lack of luck on the day. And we can be up for it as much as you like, sometimes teams/players just don't turn up. Regarding the media, i think its unfair to say its all down to Gerrard. Its obvious the club has been working hard to improve its image this season. Suarez has been totally reformed, a few good interviews etc. Think the PR work by the club has been brilliantComment
