A mate promised me his season ticket for this game ages ago but texted me last night to say he has now decided to go. Some mate that is eh. Gutted, absolutely gutted.....

Whatever formation Pulis goes with (and he won't go the full Mourinho route - no way) our frontline motivated by Rodgers/Peters will be too much for them.

We will need to get the diamond formation working to maximise usage out of Suarez/Sturridge up front. I'd prefer Coutinho at the point of it with Sterling on the right and Allen left. But Sterling/Coutinho can freely switch when the moment requires.

In a way its good the game is at Palace, the fans will expect some football as opposed to coming to Anfield for a hard fought point. We need to ensure we outscore Palace like we outscored Stoke and Norwich.

I can see us getting a penalty or two with our tricky movement.
          One tit for another.

I think they're on suicide watch at the moment. Steve Peters has got a massive job on his hands.

Our problem vs Chelsea when they parked the bus is we didn't get into wide areas enough, and when we did almost everyone of our crosses were head height. Against Chelsea that's a no go. Watching Atheltico last night, their patience around the box & their delivery into the 6 & 18 yard box was absolutely sensational.

It seems Simeone realised that high balls against Chelsea wasn't going to work with Cech, Terry,Cahill & Ivanovic being so strong in the air & Athletico made a concerted effort to drive low balls into the box... which Chelsea really struggled with.

Palace have a very big side & very well organised.. typical Pulis, IMO same applies. If they park the bus .. we should be looking to concentrate on low balls into the danger areas where likes of Delany & Dann are weaker. Bread and butter for them if our delivery is the same as it was vs Chelsea.

I reckon Bolaise will give Johnson a few problems. An early goal would be nice as they would have to come out and play. The Everton vs City game result on Saturday surely will effect our mentality come Monday night?

                          Anyways that's my tuppence worth

Several over crowded trains followed by a 45 minute walk, mostly uphill.
                            Oh I don't know.

****, just realised that that match will fall just before the tube strike action ie strike starts at 9.30 pm. Could be a postponement on the cards!

There isn't a tube station within about 50 miles of Selhurst Park.
