I'm not sure we'll pick ourselves up off the floor and win the last one to be honest.Unless City **** up on wednesday.

Still a great total whatever it is coming from where we were.

Yeah, even you don't have the face to flame him all of the time when we're winning ten in a row.

Struggling to find the positives after throwing away a three goal lead. It was a good honest game of football. Sometimes I question the motivation of football players, but fair play to Palace. They got a lucky deflection and then raised their game, pride was enough for them to play for and that's the way it should be. It must have been a great game for the neutrals. Disappointed, but overall it has been a great season.

Surely I'd just not say anything? If you have a complete hatred of someone you dont log on to internet forums and praise them do you?

Apology accepted anyway and hopefully you can stop that tedious **** in the future.

The bottom line is we were tactically naive. Was crazy going for more goals when we had it wrapped up. We were never going to catch city's goal difference.

Felt so sorry for Stevie and Suarez.

                      ****ing right.

We still have two records to chase this weekend -

                      1. Suarez to become the Premier League's record scorer in a 38 game season.
                      2. Liverpool to become the Premier League's record scorers (Chelsea got 103 in 09-10 season).

We're in the Champion's League group stages, world class players will know who we are and will want to join, Anfield will host European football again!

The first goal was a lucky deflection, they were broken before that slice of luck. It wasn't tactical naivety it was just the way it goes. The momentum was with them and they suddenly found some impetus that they'd previously lost. I think our substitutions didn't help. We go again.

I don't think at 3-0 going for more goals was the issue, I think the naivety comes in the fact that we always try to play the same way. IMO when they got the goal back to make it 3-1 we should have just taken a few minutes to compose ourselves, pass the ball around and tried to take the momentum away from them (or stop them from building up any momentum). This team doesn't seem capable of that, IMO at times we play too much with our hearts and not enough with our heads.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Thats what you call bottling it.

Our arses completely went after that first goal went in.

Skrtl and Johnson completely lost their heads.

****ing incredible that we go from looking like it could be an absolute hammering....to gifting them 3 in 8 ****ing minutes.

Im seething. Im so ****ing angry. if i had a cat, i would have ****ed the **** out if it. Not because of the game, but just because i hate cats. the cunts.

We were really good for 60 of the 90 minutes?

I think we should have made sure of the win. They scored, and immediately afterwards started to look dangerous. Im not sure a change in personel would have changed anything, we dont have any options on the bench; but a change in attitude might have been in order. Not advocating parking the bus, just perhaps not having both fullbacks so advanced
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

Agreed. As soon as they scored to 3-1 we should change the strategy. We fought long and bravely to score as many goals as possible but the moment they scored that lucky punch of a goal we should have changed the difference to a more defensive strategy. I know I've been harsh on the defense today - again - but in all fairness they should've had more support from the midfield. This is a learning curve for the players as well as Brendan Rodgers. We need to have more than one game strategy. Any thing else is just naive in my opinion.

We need to understand that the perception of beautiful football will win leagues isn't always the case. Just see Chelsea who can still win the league if City loses both their games and we lose ours and of course they got knocked out of Champions League in the semifinals.

We may not do as well next year but I think we have a bright future ahead of us. Still gutted to see Suarez reaction to the loss.
                                JUSTICE FOR THE 96!
