Whatever anyone thinks of our players the squad is paper thin, to my mind we have 14 players who are experienced and good enough for the squad next year: Mignolet, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Sakho, Flanagan, Gerrard, Henderson, Allen, Lucas, Coutinho, Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge, we need to keep all of those players and add quality to them probably another 5 or 6 players who can compete for a first team place, getting rid of any of those means that we have a massive rebuilding job in the summer and is unrealistic IMOThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

Arguably they didn't provide that either. Moses, Cissokho, Luis Alberto and Aspas aren't top 4 standard players. Luis Alberto might be one day, but he isn't at the moment.
Its testament to the job Brendan and the medical staff did this season that they took it as far as they have. The squad needs to be properly strengthened this window and no half measures.Comment

If the small group we had weren't playing to such a high level there'd have been more rotation. I feel that players like Moses & Aspas, given a run of games, would be top 6 squad players. That's where our team was at. Obviously the key to winning the title is to have players on the bench who would get in your rivals starting XI. some players may be good enough but might leave for other reasons. im thinking of agger and kelly here.
