Rodgers on Ibe: “He's got running power, pace, and he has a lovely touch on the ball. He just needs to work on his finishing!" #LFC
I've got it on record and will be counting down the hours when I get home (and put kids to bed) to put this match on.
Can't wait to see how Ibe and Borini perform regardless of oppos or occasion. Have been dying to see Ibe all season since he hasn't played much for the U21s and then the loan to Brum.
IBE
Ibe!!
Glad I watched that last night. Disappointed he couldn't finish but you could see he was trying too hard to get a goal. When he relaxes a bit he'll be unstoppable.
Was weirdly impressed by the Aspas/Borini frontline, they acted the seniors and led by example quite well. Conor Randall is relatively new but has quietly done well this season.

I quite enjoyed it too - the Rovers players were well up for it
Ibe looks one hell of a prospect - his bloody finishing was awful though!
McLaughlin, Teixeira & Dunn all did well I thought
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins
I really like Teixeira. I wonder if part of the reason behind being willing to let Suso go (assuming that is true) is because we feel that ultimately, Teixeira plays in a similar position and is better/has more potential.

Aye. But I also wonder how Texeira is gonna make the breakthrough with us. Just can't see him playing, and at his age he needs to be cracking on.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
I think Rodgers clearly likes him though - shown by giving him a chance against Fulham. Can see him being used more as a sub the coming season. Or being loaned out. Or sold.
