if his form or lack of it recently is down to being played right midfield.
have we got one of the best players in the world but one of the worst team players?

Anyone think the media play him?
mmm what sohuld we do this week, i know lets screw Liverpool up by constantly saying Stevie iis wasted where he plays, just watch him sulk.
Number of none Liverpool fans who say our bad form is cos our best player is wasted on the right, yet never watch us play now or last season!!!
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

All he says is that Rafa has agreed to give him much more time in midfield now that Momo is injured. That is all.
however, the way Gerrard says it is as if thats what we have been missing in the team, (him in the middle). Honestly, I dont agree. Id rather see him more advanced albeit centrally.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

      * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I thought it was odd that he called him Benitez, rather than Mr. Benitez or Rafa, the way most players refer to their manager (Mr. Wenger, Mr. Maureen, etc...).

I'm sure there's nothing in it.

I noticed that aswell. and it's not the first time he's done it. I think it shows total dsrespect for Rafa.
Can't remember any player addressing their manager like that.

Don't like the sound of that. Much prefered it when came across more humble.

You never know, maybe he likes to be called Benitez ?

Coud well be it. When I said it was probably nothing, I meant that we don't really know how the players and the managers interact on a day to day basis. Maybe that's what they call Rafa?
