Top 10 season highlights

following on from this weeks anfield wrap on city talk it got me thinking what are everyone`s season highlights and why?
10.the mig save fom the pen and the follow up save which then was followed by a huge roar when stevie cleared the resultant corner

9. flano`s goal against tottenham a **** ground for us in the past but that goal summed up everything about the team that day

8.the suarez goal against norwhich sheer genius and for me the best ever player in a red shirt

7.utd away watching them being tore apart and us not even playing well and the look on fergusons face

6.everton at home always good to stuff that shower especially when they get above themselves 4 nil boys

5.city at home say what you want this is when we knew it was on dont give me "the we go again" is whats to blame for us not winning it we all felt the same

4.not a goal but the suarez shot against arsenal at home **** me what a shot

3.that half of football against arsenal will live with me for a long long time the sheer pandemonium in that 20 minute spell the crowd going nuts what a day

2.going 2 up at norwich the day i thought we are gonna do this

1.going the game again became boss:rock

Not sure I could pick 10 or even begin to put them in order but I'd have your number 10 much higher - think it was a significant moment that could have altered belief/morale dramatically.

The Arsenal game at Anfield was immense. I think that Luis shot you have as a separate item was possibly the best shot I've ever seen not rewarded with a goal.

Trouncing the Mancs was brilliant.

It was a brilliant season but I'm still too gutted about losing it to even rate my best moments!

Agree with Dave on Luis volleying onto the post against Arsenal. It was absolutely sublime, would have been goal of the century for me. Gutted it never went in.

Great season all round but the highlight for me was compounding the misery at Old Trafford by absolutely taking the piss as we beat them 3-0. It could have easily been six or seven. That first 20 minutes vs Arsenal at home was ****ing sensational though as was the 5-0 away to Spurs. The fact that there's so many options tells it's own story. Immensely enjoyable season.

the 3-0 at the toilet followed by the destruction of the bluenoses, the silence after those matches was immense, could see the pain hahahaha

First 20 minutes against Arsenal.

Im going to go with top 5

1)Little Phil's goal against City and the fact it put us in the driving seat for the title

2) Fulham away and Gerrard's pen at the time, those scenes afterwards felt like we were going to be right up there.

3) Easy away win at United

4) Everton at home

5) Suarez against Norwich, the best player on the plant during those few months

Glad you included the Suarez volley against Arsenal. Jaw dropping. In fact he hit the woodwork this season with 3-4 incredible efforts. Remember that outside of the foot chip that hit the bar? Can't remember who it was against. He hit the bar twice with wonderful chips in the same game. Then of course his free kick against Newcastle. His compilation of amazing near misses would be unreal.

Think those Suarez efforts were in the 2-1 at West Ham.

The annihilation of Arsenal was incredible. Again, the most perfect 20 mins ever.

The 5-0 away to Spurs was a watershed moment for me. Up until then we were being labeled as flat track bullies and it was expected to be a real test of our top 4 credentials, never mind a title race. But we completely dismantled them and it turned out to be the first in a whole season of thrashings handed out to the top end teams.
