Wanna be a top team in Europe and we only really have one player left in the quarter finals of the World Cup? Shocking, shows how inept Brendan is in the transfer market really, sums it up. Need to stop buying all these losers with "potential" lol

I just surprised you didn't write that post with crayons you moron! Brendan is building for the future and it doesn't matter how many players we have in the QL, idiot LOL

Off the top off my head there is Ibe, Wisdom, Robinson, Rossiter, McLaughlin, Dunn, Brannagan, Smith, Coady and even Suso. I think we could see two or three from that group stepping up and make an impact.
Ibe- Hope he does get a few chances this season, or at least gets a decent loan move. Stilla high hopes for him.

Wisdom- Interesting to see what we do with him. Not good enough for me at RB, but on his youth performances at CB, a perfect partner on paper for Sakho. Whether here or on loan, I hope he plays this season at CB.

Robinson- I was never really that big a fan, never understood all the hype.

Rossiter- Good wee player, but unlikely to make much first team impact this year IMO.

McLaughlin- Was outstanding in his debut season, but went off the boil a bit last year. Looked a natural successor to Johnson at one stage, but think he'd maybe need another loan to see how he progresses first.

Dunn- I've always liked Dunn. Would like to see him get a decent loan move.

Brannagan- Highly rated but again I think his best option would be a loan as it's too soon for teh first team.

Smith- Would be surprised if he made much of an impact this year.

Coady- Don't think he's good enough for us, but his SU form proved he's a good player.

Suso- Really hope we do keep him and give him a few chances. Fear he will be loaned out again though or sold.

We also have Tex, Ilori and Sinclair who might push for a place and of the younger group, Kent and Wilson are the stand out players.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Pfft. You let Nige do it.

Will be nice to have all the lads back for a change and not only seeing some reserve lads.

                  Oh dear

Change of subject . Anyone remember that friendly game where Pepe Reina played in midfield?

Damn, didn't realise the post was about pre-season.

Then I'd like to see McLaughlin given a chance, Wisdom at CB, Dunn given a run out, Suso tried in a deeper role, Ilori alongside Sakho, Tex in midfield and Sinclair playing a few games.

Painfully. Took a half day to watch it and it was dreadful. In fact most of them games in the Swiss training camp were brutal.

Nige gets way too much credit for his supposed wummery. He's actually serious most of the time
