    Former Reds striker and TV favourite recovers from operation to remove his bladder and prostate, with more surgery ahead...

    The former Reds star has recently had both his bladder and his prostate removed.

    Ian, who celebrated his 76th birthday last Saturday, spent two weeks in hospital in April.

    IAN ST JOHN urged all men aged 50+ to get themselves checked for prostate cancer.

            The recommended age in Australia is 40+.
            Was muß, das muß.

              I went to my doctor a couple of years ago and was told that 40+ was not the age where prostrate problems occur. Problem that caused me to go to see him still exists, you can see how these things get missed when doctors read from a manual
