Can't wait to see him and Kent in the first team squad some day.

Haven't been this excited by a talented pairing coming through since Nemeth and Pacheco.

Seriously though both do look very confident in their own abilities and are happy to move out wide to give the other the limelight when asked to. Which would explain why Kent didn't look too bright end of last season (injuries too) and beginning of this and why he's now shining while Wilson seems to have gone down a notch.

Pelosi I'm not surprised about, Lussey I am a bit, he was off on loan to Bolton only a few months back.

pelosi was very highly rated a while back but he suffered a bad injury - a leg break i think - he may even have had 2 major injuries on the trot.

surprised about jordan lussey too. he seemed ok but in youth football to make it at one of the big clubs you have to be more than ok. you need to be a diamond.

With Jordan Williams, Adam Philips, Rossiter to come back, Brannagan making strides and Pedro Chirivella there is only room for so many central midfielders

Lussey had already agreed a move to Bolton when he was there, months ago.

Too bad about Pelosi, a stoppage time tackle in a meaningless game runied his career.

at the age of 21, if they're better than what we are using in the first team then we sell the first teamers and make room for the better young ones. in a season or two milner and lucas will be ready to be moved out.

Oh sure I know what the ideal is, and some times I worry that the recruitment policy for the senior side is at odds with that - as you suggest what should happen over the next few years is that the best of the U21s are integrated a couple a season as others move on.

I'd love to think that Braners and Rossiter would be edging into the seniors next season (2016/17) for Cup games at least.

Sheyi Ojo v Russia touch video, slightly annoying as there is little context with this type of clip but what it does show is just how mobile and busy he is, playing a bit deeper than for Liverpool and ranging across the width of the pitch. Won and converted a peno. England lost 2-1
