Phillips, under pressure, keeps his eye on a steeply descending ball, traps it on his chest and brings it down onto his foot, turning at the same time to take it out of trouble. Lovely control. He then turns Gordon in glorious fashion who brings him straight down. The ref tells Gordon that he wants no more trouble in the time honoured fashion by miming the action of a man testing the smoothness of his dining room table after sanding it down in the back garden at the weekend. As I did. It's smooth I can tell you.

That first free-kick by Wilson was a bit cheeky, trying to catch the keeper out, but it has a deceptive amount of pace and very nearly crept in at the near post. The goal came from it though so well done.

I did Firth a disservice for the penalty, it wasn't right at him. He did a good job there.

Ojo is like a greased whippet, he has super acceleration and picks his pass, he doesn't just lump it in there. Sinclair is in the right place every time. But for me it's Adam Phillips who is shining. Quiet, controlled, a clever player right there.
