I think everyone is too depressed to start one.

    I'm still fuming.

Such a bad start. We were defeated in only one of our pre-season games last year, starting very well. Rodgers was out and about having a holiday over the week-end, when he should have overseen his charges in training.

              Slack. Very slack.
              Are we winning?

Yes, Ibe looks strong and hopefully he can kick on. Young players often struggle with being composed in front of goal. I'm sure this can be coached and will come. Flanagan was neat and tidy with his passes and made a couple of decent runs, one where he was bursting his guts to get on the overlap, very impressive committement. Coutinho looked bright early on.

The rest was just a fitness thing, nothing to worry about yet.

Yes so hopefully over the next year or two we can see the evidence. I'm not sure loaning him is the answer.

Careful now. The double whoosh is a tricky beast.

The one thing Sterling had in his game at an early age was finishing. I remember that 5 he scored against a good Southend team. Ibe needs to get this part of his game fixed quickly, then he'll be better than Raheem.

And he's in good hands to get his game sorted.

I don't think he will ever be better than sterling. He isn't as dynamic or as elusive.

The result doesn't matter today. Aren't they part way through their season or something?
